Olan'atar was on his way to the transporter room for his mission. He was supposed to rescue some old professor from Earth, who'd been abducted, from what he'd guessed from some overheard conversations. He didn't know the specifics, which was odd, because he was usually told about the missions. Something was off.

But this time, it couldn't be a holodeck simulation. He hadn't been anywhere near holodecks on his way. Besides, it looked like a 2360s Galaxy-class starship, looking brand new at that, rather than a modern refit.
