TEST DRIVE #15 - Holodeck and Ten Forward

001: Where were you a minute ago? Well, you aren't there anymore. Instead, you're standing in a very large, dark room lined with yellow. There are doors at either end of it.

Here's where things get a little choose your own adventure-y. You could:



1: Approach a console filled with buttons, located a few feet away. Press one, and it'll let you out of the room. Travel down a long hallway and you'll be in Ten Forward, the Enterprises' entertainment lounge. Have a drink, mingle and try to figure out why you're here.

OR

2: Maybe you just muttered some vague request under your breath. Maybe you wished aloud you were somewhere else. Or for help? If you did, might be in a fire station. Muttered something about killing whoever dumped you here? Surprise - you're in a slasher movie!

Though they're confusing, these visions feel about as real as they can be. And guess what - other people can experience those fantasies with you, as if they too were really there. How ever will you escape? Or do you want to?

[OOC: Welcome to the Holodeck! If you choose this option, whatever your character chooses to say out loud will cause a virtual reality program to load and play. While your character feels as if what they're experiencing and seeing is quite real, they're purely living through the latest and best in what he Enterprise has to offer in entertainment. Make sure to detail what your character's fantasy is, so that those threading with them will know how to react.

"You know me too well." Thea cracked a rare smile. "And I think Felicity will be happy to know there's more people keeping me and Oliver in check." she confessed.

"Just well enough, I hope." He cocked an eyebrow at her. chuckling. "Hey now. I didn't sign on to keep Ollie in check, too. Besides, he hits harder."

He grinned at her.

"I'm here, though, and I'll help. Who's your doctor?"

"What kind of doctor?" Thea asked Roy. "Because I was in counseling for stabbing related fallout but that was before things took that turn." but a tiny smile escaped at Roy's joke, some things never changed like the banter she freely played with around him.

"Both." Then he sighed, and nodded. "A better doctor, obviously." He slid an arm around her more comfortably.

"Either way, I'm here now. And that means no more hiding, no more lying." He nudged her with his hip. "No lies anymore, remember?"

"No more shoving and no more lies, have to see its ok to be the tattered and broken one for now." Thea mused. "You saw me at almost total rock bottom after all, I'm just right back to the girl I was. The darker girl."

"You're always a woman to me. Always Thea. Always true." Roy grinned and then he nodded.

"Lets find a place to talk, calmly, eh?"

Thea pulled Roy into one of the back booths: not only was it calmer but she could hide the fact she was shaking like a leaf. "Nothing has made sense in weeks. I mean I know I'm not alone but my head and my heart are basically in a battle royale leaving my soul as damage." she attempted to explain.

He slid his arms around her, hugging her close, almost onto his lap as he listened, nodding. "I'm sorry Thea, that I wasn't here, or there, for you."

He gently stroked her hair. "But no matter what, you're not alone now, and I won't let you face this alone, ever again."
