TEST DRIVE #15 - Holodeck and Ten Forward

001: Where were you a minute ago? Well, you aren't there anymore. Instead, you're standing in a very large, dark room lined with yellow. There are doors at either end of it.
Here's where things get a little choose your own adventure-y. You could:

1: Approach a console filled with buttons, located a few feet away. Press one, and it'll let you out of the room. Travel down a long hallway and you'll be in Ten Forward, the Enterprises' entertainment lounge. Have a drink, mingle and try to figure out why you're here.
OR
2: Maybe you just muttered some vague request under your breath. Maybe you wished aloud you were somewhere else. Or for help? If you did, might be in a fire station. Muttered something about killing whoever dumped you here? Surprise - you're in a slasher movie!
Though they're confusing, these visions feel about as real as they can be. And guess what - other people can experience those fantasies with you, as if they too were really there. How ever will you escape? Or do you want to?
[OOC: Welcome to the Holodeck! If you choose this option, whatever your character chooses to say out loud will cause a virtual reality program to load and play. While your character feels as if what they're experiencing and seeing is quite real, they're purely living through the latest and best in what he Enterprise has to offer in entertainment. Make sure to detail what your character's fantasy is, so that those threading with them will know how to react.

Piper Halliwell - Charmed
"Chris? Wyatt?" she called out. Her eyes widened when the house wasn't the house anymore. "What the hell?" The room was dark and the yellow lines weren't things that set her mind at ease. The brunette took a few cautious steps forward, looking over at the only thing that actually had lights on it. "Okay," she said to herself as she tucked some of hair behind her ears. "Button, button, something's gonna let me out."
She reached out and pressed a button, ready to freeze something if it came at her.
Instead, a door slid open into a hallway. Piper looked back at the console, then back at the hallway.
"Wyatt and Chris, you are both so grounded when I get home."
She took a few cautious steps into the hallway, toward the sound of what she assumed were people. Piper looked back at the dark room she had come from before continuing down the hallway.
"Where the hell am I?" she asked, mostly to herself. The lounge that appeared was something that should've appeared at a scifi convention with all the creatures and people that walked around. Demons? It certainly didn't look like they were demons.
Re: Piper Halliwell - Charmed
The quiet calm voice came from a teenager hovering in air near her, smiling. His outfit, a red, gold, and blue thing of some not shiny material, seemed unruffled by the fact that he was nearly four feet off the floor as he spoke. His eyes were a brilliant blue, and his hair a mop of black curls.
"Welcome to the Enterprise, miss."
no subject
There was a teenager hovering in the air that reminded her of...no, he couldn't be. Could he?
"Enterprise. Right. Okay, how far, exactly, am I from, you know....earth?" she asked. "You mind coming back onto the floor or is walking not something you do?"
no subject
He nodded to her. "You, like me and many others, were drawn here by a super-powerful being who seems to like to remain scarce, and who seems to like to annoy us by dropping us here with no explanation." Clark smiled to her.
"Would you like something to drink? Lemonade, tea, chocolate milk... beer?" He made a face at that last, but he knew some adults liked it.
no subject
"Tea. Tea would be great."
Piper took in her surroundings. Okay, she was in space with some kid that was floating around in space as far as she could be from earth. That was normal. Had this been in the heydays, she could've called for Leo to come forth and orb her out of here.
"Why don't you go on ahead and get that started? I'll catch up."
no subject
The tea appeared from a replicator, and then he turned and brought it to her. "Here you go, ma'am."
he stood glancing at the giant window facing out toward the stars and back at her. "When are you from, if you don't mind me asking?"
no subject
She followed him and was surprised when the tea appeared instantly. This might put her club out of business. Cautiously, she picked up the cup and took a sip. Close enough.
"San Francisco. You? Listen, are there any demons that are around? You said something about a super powerful being that got us here?"
no subject
"Smallville, not that I know of, and yes, his name is Q, or... the name of his entire race is Q, or both. It's sort of confusing. But apparently he is a cosmic being that the Enterprise started encountering a year or two ago."
Clark made a face again. "He seems to like to play pranks, and make things, ah... interesting."

Re: Piper Halliwell - Charmed
"What's the last thing you remember?"
no subject
Hi Mom!
"I swear, it wasn't me." Chris answered, not entirely sure if she was talking about him or baby him. But you know what? Still not his fault. This time. Chris was still dressed in jeans, a tee shirt and a hoodie, mainly because one of his charges hadn't found and burned them all as a fashion hazard.
"Hi Mom."
no subject
"Whoa." Piper stepped back a little when the familiar orbs appeared in front of her.
Not exactly the baby she had left behind but at least a familiar face.
"Chris, what is going on? Where is this place? Am I in your future? Why am I in your future?"
She needed answers and the last time she had met her son this way, he had been a lot more neurotic.
no subject
"Actually, we've both been kidnapped--but this guys not in the book. As far as I can tell, this guy is some bored Upper Level something who likes to grab people from their universe and pop them into others. But I haven't actually seen him, so all this info is like a bad game of telephone. "
no subject
"Wow, there's too much future for you?" Piper couldn't resist getting that one in. "Besides, cell phones have been invented and reinvented over the last twenty.
She took a deep breath to really assess her situation. "All right, well, who else is here?"
no subject
"Phoebe's here. I saw Paige earlier. And Cole. Who isn't evil. I think. I'm just thankful Phoebe and Cole didn't get put in the same room together, cause I can't handle that. Oh, and Paige better get moving since I have like twelve charges here and I can't handle any more." He could barely handle the twelve that he had.
no subject
Uh uh. Kid, you're not getting away that easily. Piper holds onto him, just glad to have something familiar to help ground her. She let go as soon as he mentioned Cole.
"Cole? Cole's here? I thought we vanquished him. And twelve isn't much. I was whitelighter for a day and had to orb all over creation."

So here's your former big sister, now your little sister? XD
"Phoebe! What the hell did you do?!" Because of course it was Phoebe's doing. She'd been the one going to check the Book of Shadows while Prue and Piper had tried to explain things to the good doctor. She glanced around, taking in the lounge. "Okaaay, this is new." Because whatever had happened, clearly a spell was responsible. And suddenly she found herself in some weird science fiction type place.
"Piper? Phoebe?" She asked as she started looking around. Of course the first thing she thought upon seeing some of the very not-human-looking people was that it seemed like this was some sort of sci-fi convention or something. It wasn't anywhere near Halloween, so she didn't think of that.
However, as she made her way through the people, she thought she spotted a brunette that was familiar. All too familiar. And familiar was a very good thing right now. Of course, Prue had no idea what her presence may mean to her sister considering she had no idea of what had happened regarding Shax. So to her, she was just finding her sister in a really weird place.
And Phoebe was so getting the blame for this.
"Piper! Why are we suddenly in a sci-fi convention?" She approached Piper, eyeing some alien-looking person as she went by them. "Phoebe is so getting yelled at for this."
Let's just break Piper's brain, shall we? XD
As soon as she heard that voice call for her, Piper froze in her tracks. From what Chris had explained to her, there was very possibly a way for Prue to be where she was too.
That didn't stop her from paling at the sight of her older sister, alive and breathing and looking like she's going to give Phoebe an earful.
"Prue," she breathed.
She didn't answer any of Prue's questions, just hugged the woman tightly to her, not realizing just how much she'd missed her. Everything they had fought, had gone through, she always had Prue in mind. She kept her tears in check because, it's likely that Prue came from before and wouldn't...
"I'm afraid Phoebe's not actually to be blamed for this one."
Sorry-not-sorry Piper? XD
That's what Prue was going to keep telling herself because it made the most sense to her.
"So a warlock then? Or a demon?" Because those were the logical choices after ruling out Phoebe. Piper wasn't getting the blame considering she'd been standing right next to her moments earlier. "And where exactly are we?" If this wasn't a sci-fi convention of some sort, then clearly some sort of time travel had been involved. Though she had a feeling she wasn't going to be prepared for the answer.
XD
"Uh, something definitely upper level."
Piper let go of her and wiped under her eyes to be sure that her make up wasn't running and that there was no sign of crying.
"I haven't seen who it was that took people just yet but um..what...when was it that you came from? What's the date?"
God, this was weirder than when she used Coop's ring.
no subject
"May 17th, 2001. Why?" And cue Prue starting to get suspicious. "What does the date have to do with anything?"
The fact they could be from different points in time wasn't first on her mind of the possibilities here. There were other possibilities to consider first before going to that point. At least in Prue's mind there were. They'd time traveled before, both forwards and backwards, so this was still in that realm of possibilities.
no subject
Piper gave a small chuckle. 2001. How could she forget the day she was talking about?
"You're gonna find this really funny," she started. "Um, I'm from June 16, 2006."
Just putting that one out there. For Prue to digest. Which meant, she as probably older than Prue from when she came. That was going to be weird.
"So kind of from your future and older than you are. Wow, never thought I'd get to say that."

Re: Piper Halliwell - Charmed
She's bouncing ahead of a man with the same red hair and eyes as her who has that bemused/resigned expression of someone who has just spent the past ten minutes listening to a small child ramble on forever about something really simple. And has pink paint splotches on his leg about the same place where a girl her size would have hugged him on the leg.
When she sees Piper she stops in midbounce and beams at her. "Hello! You look lost! My name is Ceilidh! And that's my Uncle Rory! He's awesome! Are you lost?"
no subject
"Ooh, all right." She looked down at the girl, then up at her uncle. "Right. Hi there." Piper tucked her hair behind her ears and crouched down to the girl's level."Hi, Ceilidh, I'm Piper. Can either of you tell me what this place is? Why there's so many people around here?"
no subject
Rory is questionable.
"Piper? Like the Pied Piper? My great-great-great-great grandmama kicked him in the balls." She gave a serious nod. "Because he was a bad fairy for kidnapping children."
... Perhaps Ceilidh is questionable too. Rory looks like he's heard this shit before and realizes that there's no real chance of him even trying to control her mouth.
"You're on the Enterprise," Rory said. "It's a space ship from Earth. You've unfortunately been another victim of a kidnapping from an alien life form like a great deal of us."
